On the 1st of February 2024 we marked a significant milestone as we had the Kick-off meeting of CYBERUNITY, a pioneering project aiming to transform Europe’s cybersecurity landscape.
Highlights of the Kick-off meeting
The meeting, held at Norway, began with a warm welcome from the Project Coordinator, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The opening remarks highlighted the urgency of addressing cyber threats and the critical role CYBERUNITY will play towards this direction. An in-depth overview of the CYBERUNITY was presented, outlining its mission to build a collaborative cybersecurity framework, its objectives and its strategic roadmap.
The meeting proceeded with presentations from each Work Package (WP) leader, where they outlined their respective WP’s objectives, milestones, and deliverables. This session provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s structure and allowed project partners to align their efforts towards their common goals.
Following the WP presentations, interactive discussions and Q&A sessions took place, fostering the exchange of ideas and insights among stakeholders, facilitating the detailed planning and coordination within and across the WPs.
Overall, the kick-off meeting was an opportunity for networking, allowing partners to meet in person and build a strong network, essential for the success of CYBERUNITY.
